rEADY FOR THE wAY yOUR dEPARTMENT rESPONDS

Crews need fire apparatus that arrive ready for every response. We fabricate and modify boxes, steps, racks, mounts, piping, and other components to improve storage, access, and overall function.

Tell us what the crew needs to carry, reach, or secure more effectively. Send us a picture, measurements, or equipment dimensions and we can figure it out.

Small Changes Can Make a Big Difference On Scene

We work with departments to understand the specific problem, be it additional storage, better equipment access, or components built around operating requirements. We can account for available space and clearances, and can fabricate a solution from aluminum, stainless steel, or carbon steel.

Upfits, Repairs, and Modifications

Equipment Storage and Upfitting

We can create compartments, boxes, trays, and storage solutions around the equipment a department needs to carry. Each project considers the available space, accessibility, secure retention, and how the equipment will be used at the scene. This can include body-side components and equipment storage for engines, brush trucks, and other response vehicles.

Steps, Racks, and Mounts

Equipment has to remain accessible without creating new clearance, storage, or safety problems. We can fabricate steps, racks, brackets, mounts, and supports around the dimensions and operating requirements of the apparatus. Things like fold-down steps and custom-built equipment racks help your crew when responding.

Apparatus Piping and Metal Repair

We can also repair appropriate stainless-steel or aluminum piping, brackets, steps, compartments, and other components, with each evaluated on the material involved, location, operating conditions, and overall function. For some repairs, we can use TIG welding for aluminum and stainless-steel components.
